Each human is capable and able to learn. Our brains are naturally programmed with an in-built capacity to learn. We also know that we can continue to learn throughout our lifespan due to the research on neural plasticity. Even so, sometimes it is easy and sometimes difficult.
Although we are capable of learning, it doesn’t mean we are all able to easily unlock this skill. We also do not necessarily prefer to engage and learn about all topics easily. For example, some people naturally gravitate towards technical learning and others towards creative pursuits. We know from Gardner's work on multiple intelligences that we all have different learning preferences.
